Background:  

 
In 2004, one of India's leading Cigarette companies wanted to develop retail media planning tools. The company was worried that lack of metrics for evaluation of retail media led to faith based investments, and hence individualised approaches were existing.

 
Our Role: 

 
Retail parameters were set up for development of Retail media planning tools. A calibration of Parameters like outlet index, visibility index and merchandising pressure through a retail audit team was done. The retail audit was set up to cover over 12,000 outlets.

 
Result: 

 
The client found the study extremely useful for developing Retail media planning tools and is using the same to design its marketing and brand strategies.
 

 

In-Store Retail Identity Program


Background:  

 
In 2005, one of India’s leading FMCG company wanted to promote one of its products in Modern Trade outlets throughout the country.

 
Our Role: 

 
For the same, an end to end merchandising activity was conceived, designed and implemented in more than 250 outlets across India. A Retail audit to check the efficacy of the promotion was also subsequently carried out.

 
Result: 

 
The promotion has been very well received both by customers and retailers and helped increase the throughput of the product. The Retail audit provided an in-depth knowledge of promotional activities and customer behavior at these retail outlets to the client.

In 2005, one of India’s leading telecom companies wanted its promotion merchandise & material to be deployed across its priority stores as well as leading multi-product outlets throughout India.

 
Our Role: 

 
For the same, an end to end merchandising activity was planned, designed and implemented in more than 400 outlets across India. SPAR KROGNOS used its web based technology to provide a 24 hour feedback to the client.

 
Result: 

 
The client was very happy with the efforts of the team of SPAR KROGNOS and has extended the scope of work to other stores as well. It also has retained SPAR KROGNOS for other Retail merchandising activities.
